Willmore Total Fitness - Rainbow City

Fantastic experience: This has to be one of the coolest most well equipped gyms I've ever been to. I spent two hours working out just so I could check out all the different cable and plate loaded machines. Every cable machine I used was well oiled and moved freely, no rough spots on the cable, all the pads were new with no tears, no bent bars or dumbbells, and so many unique pieces of equipment. There were three machines just for training rear delts plus all the different cables. They also have a powerlifting area in the back and are bodybuilder friendly (they actually host the spray tanning for one of the biggest bodybuilding shows in Alabama which is extremely cool). Needless to say the place is big (upstairs and downstairs) but still very clean. On top of all that the staff were extremely professional and friendly. If I lived in Gadsden I would be at this gym every day

Fantastic experience: I have gyms in Birmingham and Huntsville so I’m very picky about workout facilities. I’ve visited Wilmore Rainbow City twice this past week while visiting a friend in Gadsden. I really like this gym. Good mix of old school equipment (which I love) and new. The facility is clean and well equipped, everything works, the employees very friendly and helpful, and the members there are very friendly as well. Emily helped me both times I visited and did a great job. Kept up the good work!! Wayne Alford.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the gym is incredibly friendly, the selection of equipment is massive, and the members and staff work to keep the gym in great condition. The prices are also amazing for all of the access you get. As a competitive powerlifter, this is easily one of the best gyms I have ever been to. Would recommend to anybody who wants to increase their level of fitness, this gym has everything!

Positive experience: This is a huge gym. Love the atmosphere and all the trainers are super nice. Really, everyone I've talked to is friendly and helpful here. I go in the mornings so i don't really know how the other staff is there. The place is always being cleaned when I am there so the gym is also really clean. The only thing I wish they would do is keep a check on the protective equipment like the weight belts. some of the velcro belts have been worn out and one of them busted open on me when I was doing heavy squats. I waited around until the office opened up and brought this to the attention of one of the staff one day and months later its still there. Since all the good belts are usually being used I ended up just sucking it up and buying a personal one. No big deal in the end since now I don't have to wait on a belt to do my exercises but something you may want to know if you are thinking about going to this gym.

Fantastic experience: Best gym. I’ve worked out in a lot of places throughout the world, and this gym is probably at the top when it comes to value and equipment. The equipment is carefully selected and well-maintained. Plenty of hammer strength machines, and more free weights than practically any gym I have been in. Staff is nice, rules are relatively strict and well enforced which I appreciate. The locker rooms are spacious, showers are great. Really there’s nothing that I can say negatively about this gym at all.

Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing, the gym itself is always clean. The equipment is awesome, they even have tanning beds that you DO NOT have to pay extra fees for. They are always blasting awesome music, you won't find a better gym in this area. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Excellent value price wise in what you get in membership. Nutrition bar is fairly priced compared to other places in town that price gouge on shakes. Clean, orderly, adequate and easily accessible’ ‘CrossFit’ area to train in for events like The Barbarian Challenge which saves money compared to specialized CF gyms. Be ready to stay awhile, too much fun equipment to decide what to use.

Negative experience: I moved to Steele from Oneonta and decided to get a gym membership at this place and worked out there for the first time today. It was amazing, they had two floors of literally everything you could ever think of having in a gym. I loved the fact that they had a Jacobs Ladder machine considering how expensive those are, I will definitely be putting that one to use! This place is sick. There's even a shake shop inside. Edit: after working out here for a while you will realize that you will never be able to do your full planned routine because the place is just way too crowded. I had to cancel my membership.

Fantastic experience: Coming from Colorado I was psyched to see such a complete gym. Great equipment...some of my old favorites and large dumbell racks. 180lbs!! Maybe 20 years ago...lol. The gym and equipment are clean, and the bathrooms don't stink. My only dislike is the massage chairs. Hydro massage chairs are much nicer, but a bit pricey. Thank you for a great gym and awesome atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Staff here is amazing! There's a sauna available to members, one thing you don't see at a lot of gyms. This isn't a "lunk gym" either. A great place to go to lift free weights and not get judged.
