Negative experience: They charge you at the beginning for the first and last last month’s fee, but then revoke access when you cancel even during your “last month”. Pretty expensive for the quality of equipment and cleanliness/upkeep, and the mismanagement makes it not really worth it.

Fantastic experience: This is my second round with Fitness Experience, the first being before the vaccine scam. Met the new owner, took a liking to him from the start. Great gym, great staff, very clean. The downside, it's a popular gym, therefore it's a busy gym.

Fantastic experience: Clean, plenty of lockers, plenty of machines, it’s 24 hours which is a massive plus. Everyone I’ve met has been friendly. The dry sauna is very small, sits ~3 adults comfortably at a time and has signs of fire damage. Very helpful lobby boy.

Negative experience: Giving no option but to give my phone number and email just to see the pricing is slimy. Memberships are $35 a month which could be a good price but I don't know cancelation fees, sign-up fees or any details about what they offer because you don't get that information upfront till they pull you in further. Go somewhere else that's not trying to hide something.

Fantastic experience: Amazing atmosphere! High quality and well maintained equipment. First gym I found they have Nordic Curl machine IYKYK. I went to many gyms in Albany and this is the best by far. Budget friendly and a straightforward gym. I like that everyone seems very responsible and respectful of the gym and others personal belongings. It’s never too crowded. So far my favorite gym 24/7 gym Easy Parking A/C Sauna Clean restrooms Showers

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym since 2019 and had nothing but a positive experience. The staff is always super friendly, there is a wide array of equipment, the quality of people that workout there is great( it’s not a gym to socialize, most people go there to DO WORK), it has a light and positive feeling atmosphere, and it’s cost effective. The owner has always been understanding and personable and I appreciate that. I love supporting small businesses and this is definitely one I would recommend. I hope someday, I see more Fitness Experiences pop up around Oregon!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at this gym for the better part of a decade. I started on the CrossFit side when I was 16 and absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere, coaches, and people. This is hands down the best gym in Albany for regular gym goers and CrossFit athletes! Love this place.

Fantastic experience: it is a great gym with a great community and high quality equipment. There are a wide variety of classes and most of it comes with a basic membership. But my favorite part is their excellent trainers.

Fantastic experience: Since moving to Oregon last year Fitness Experience has been my go to gym. My schedule keeps me busy but I appreciate the variety, high quality equipment, and great atmosphere. I have a punch pass for CrossFit R3 next door and have been working with Madi who has done an amazing job of coaching me when I can make it in. Isaac the owner seems to have adapted well during the pandemic which is nice to see. All in all I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the community.

Negative experience: *Update* When I went there a while ago, I just didn’t have the best experience. Their staff was not professional. One of the ladies that was tall, slender, and had very short & lighter hair, came and chewed me out for working out with one of my friends. She assumed I was training her just because I was a fit bodybuilder. I honestly can’t imagine just chewing a customer out like that because I felt threatened or that they were somehow taking business away from me, or whatever it was she was feeling could be happening. It was just such a weird experience. There really are better ways of communicating with people. There were also two other very unprofessional staff there at the time as well, so it wasn’t just a single person... Anyway, the stars I am giving it are really only for the equipment...

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Our contract was up this month and they renewed it without our consent, after calling and emailing multiple times saying we wanted to terminate our membership. NO RESPONSE AT ALL! Needless to say, we have blocked our cards and will never be coming back. This place is a joke, and I'm not laughing. Shame on you.

Fantastic experience: Started here in October after moving to Jefferson. I like this center because it is very similar to my last fitness center, Epic in South Salem. Both were Golds Gym and bought by local folks who make the customer important in seeking health solutions for each individual.

Fantastic experience: Fitness Experience is one of the best gyms in Albany! I am a professional bodybuilder. I’ve trained at many gyms all around the United States. I was pleasantly surprised to see the size of the facility and the variety of equipment that they have! They even have a few pieces that I had never seen before. The facility is clean and has a wonderful overall atmosphere! I would highly recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: LOVE this place! I workout with best people at the 6 am Endurance Crossfit class. Our trainer, Alec knows how to keep us all safe as we each strive to reach our specific health goals. If it wasn't for my workout family here...I would find it real easy to stay in bed.

Fantastic experience: Want to come to a place where you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door? This is the place! It’s sometimes hard to get back in the swing of things, and feeling self conscious is always a factor. I can safely say from experience I felt right at home, with friendly helpful knowledgeable staff and even the members reached out with encouragement! The facility has everything one could be looking for, and they strive to meet your needs. The equipment is quality, it’s always clean, and I never have a problem with overcrowding. Also a bonus, free tanning!!! I highly recommend this gym!! I’m proud to say I’m a member and I encourage any and all to come check it out!!!

Fantastic experience: Love this gym, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I love t that they treat you like family. The staff is very knowledgeable and ready to work with you to get you to your goals. If you have children they have daycare which I think is amazing making it easier for parents to work out. I am all about supporting the small business family owned.

Negative experience: Fitness Experience has really bad customer service when it comes to billing. I’ve been a customer for over 3 years and they have not filed my billing correctly. I signed up for a month contract and ended with a year contract instead that was a mistake made by an employee twice. They have a decent gym set up but they are definitely money hungry. I will not be returning to them.

Fantastic experience: Fitness Experience has been one of the best gym experiences I have had. I know, there are a LOT of gym choices out there. What made Fitness Experience stand out for me? Knowledgeable staff, VERY clean facility, for being family owned and not a commercial “deep pocket” chain facility, and they have some of the best equipment to work with, and the FANTASTIC owners. Johanna and Isaac are two of the most considerate, hardworking, and dedicated people I know. They bought the facility at a time when another brand new chain facility came to town, which had to be hard, but they persevere, and ensure we have a great facility. Johanna and Isaac are great parents of two awesome and healthy little girls and Johanna is a Licensed PA in the local area. They were members of this gym before taking ownership, so they know what kind of service is expected and they continue to try to make the gym better and better. There is ALWAYS a friendly staff member who is happy to come talk you through anything you need. Isaac and Johanna dedicate themselves to the gym and ensure their staff provide EXCELLENT service to their members. The owners are easy to approach and more than willing to go out of their way to answer any questions you may have. If you have kids, they have the BEST supervised childcare program, where your kids are interacted with in a closed off area that is visible to members, so parents can sneak a peak on their treasures without disrupting their workouts. So in short, if you are looking for a GREAT gym in the Albany area, I STRONGLY recommend Fitness Experience, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Fitness Experience has been more than a gym, it's family. From the staff, coaches, trainers and fellow members it is an atmosphere of "home". Everyone is uplifting, encouraging, positive and ready to help you in anyway possible. A place where you can achieve your personal goals while being surrounded by great people. I've been to many gyms in my lifetime, and by far this place outperforms them all!

Negative experience: The longer I am there the more I dislike it. I wish I didn't have a year membership. Staff mess up way too often. You get one set of prices from one person, something different from another. I get a reimbursement through my insurance. When I went to turn in the paperwork the staff didn't know they participated in that program. They were super rude. Which is worse since they were wrong. I had to insist that they speak to their owner to get them to take the forms. Changed my debit card number and was charged 4 different amounts in one night by different staff that couldn't figure out what my monthly dues were. Now I have over tripple my monthly dues pending on my checking account. It's such a joke at this point. Take your money somewhere else.
