I really like the environment, and the staff is friendly. I love that Physiq does not have a scale, because it allows for the acceptance of bigger bodies, and a variety of other bodies. It’s also a welcoming environment for people who may be new to fitness. A gym can be an intimidating environment for some, but Physiq does a great job at making it a safe place to workout!
I love the setup of the equipment and all the tv’s so you have a choice of what to watch. I also love the movie room and use it almost every time. Also, the locker rooms are fantastic: I love the privacy areas and changing rooms by the showers, the floors that absorb water, the way you don’t have to carry a lock for your locker and that fact that its always clean and nice smelling.
I’ve always loved working out, but after having a child working out took a back seat. Now that there’s a gym with a daycare and top of the line equipment with a very affordable price it’s time to get back at it. #noexcuses

Negative experience: Make sure when you cancel your policy with them that it’s all canceled and they’re not continuing to bill you because that’s exactly what they did with me. I had canceled. I didn’t notice it and then they sent me to collections.

Fantastic experience: Love the gym, it’s clean has variety and the people are so friendly. Qties has an amazing childcare, my 10 year old doesn’t mind the 60-90 minute wait while mom works out. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: Marisa gave an outstanding introduction to Physique. Lily Gallegos offers the best Zumba class possible. Lea hunch cliff is giving great yoga instruction. Equipment all works, good variety. Gym is kept reasonably clean, which is important considering how many people are using it

Fantastic experience: Im a.middle age female who has never worked out before. So I was hesitant about joining.a gym before. My son who is a memeber talked me into going with him. They gave me a free pass to try it out. My son, took me into the movie room and I used the treadmill and watched a movie. It didn't even fill like I was actually working out! Fantastic experience: employees helpful & smiling, each greeted me, hip hop cardio dance type class was fun, met ppl of all ages, boby pump class was fun too, I'm 65 thought I would be oldest but a woman 74 was lifting more weight than me. Atmosphere was clean, lots of equipment, no shortage, music selection inspiring

Fantastic experience: I have been coming for 2.5 years now, I love the childcare. The girls, Karenna and Joan are fantastic, they have been great with my kids and work hard to make sure the kids are taken care of and the area is clean. The rest of the gym is also well maintained and kept clean. I havent had a bad experience. The rest of the staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I love Lindsey Agusto's Thursday morning hip hop class. It is so fun and engaging. I am always sore and the routines are always easy to follow versus some of the other classes that I have taken there that I felt did not look out for the concerns of beginners. Lindsey does a proper warm up, fun booty shaking routines, and a proper cool down. I joined the gym just for this class!

Fantastic experience: My first time on the stationary bike was incredible. I’d not been able to work out for many years because of health problems. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming, and I felt that as soon as I walked in. Great place!

Fantastic experience: I was ready to get back into weight training, but it had been a minute and I needed support to dial everything back in. I decided to do personal training, and am so thankful they chose Madi for me. She has been so wonderful. Kind and understanding, I feel that she truly listens and cares about my fitness goals. I look forward to seeing her every workout, and glad I have her by my side on this journey. She’s a keeper and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I've recently started my fitness journey at Physiq in Albany, and I just want to say what a positive experience it has been. The staff, trainers, and class instructors are always so friendly and welcoming! I started out going to a few classes a week with a friend and then added in some personal training sessions with Madi. I absolutely love working with her! She has created great sessions for me and is always so kind and fun. She is always so great at tailoring each session to how my body is doing that day and is great at sharing nutritional tips. She's the best! Overall, it's been a fun and motivating experience. Fantastic experience: Kery, Dom, Marissa, Don, Lilith, Kareena, Clare, and the entire crew at Albany Physique are outstanding in every possible way. Their member care and professionalism provides a re-assuring and compassionate environment. I will never need to switch or add on other programs because I have everything I need at Physique!!! Fantastic experience: I love this gym! Body pump with Kami is what you need in your life! Kami is engaging, fun, funny, and will yell at you (but in a loving, trainer way) to keep you motivated! I get a whole body workout in, in an hour and feel great! I have been going for over a year and still love it! Having the day care to drop my little off to, knowing she's having fun and is safe, is so nice.

Fantastic experience: Awesome inviting atmosphere for me as a newbie to a fitness club! Excited for my future with them! Update @ 11 months: This place is awesome! Staff and fellow members have become family. I'm down 30ish lbs and I'm close to high school weight with more muscle. The variety of equipment is helpful in two ways: 1. curiosity and observation encourages me to try new equipment to target new muscle groups and 2. there is always something else to do if someone is on "your" next piece of equipment. I have enjoyed the tanning beds and hydromassage too! Now at 16.3% body fat and going down!

Fantastic experience: Plenty of classes to join in particular On Saturday morning at 8:30 in Albany. Lots of energy and lots of people. Including trainers taking the class. Makes the weekend a whole lot better thank you.

Fantastic experience: Always an awesome experience. To expand upon that; to go to a place to work out and have Dom call your name out as you walk in, you immediately know your among friends. No matter where you are at on your fitness journey, this is the place for you! Come in and see Dom, or one of the desk folks, they can set you up! Be ready to be encouraged, supported, guided, and coached by staff and fellow members.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely everyone has a positive attitude, super friendly, very professional. I like that they have a variety of classes and the rooms are super clean. I am also a member at LA Fitness in Sarasota, Florida and I am thrilled now that I have arrived in Albany Oregon to find Physiq Fitness.

Positive experience: Gym has improved significantly, i was going to move membership to another gym but now im not , i like the recent improvements and upgrades, but , equipment seems to be broken a lot , I wish you had a a basketball or pickle ball court , even a short court would be great .

Fantastic experience: I really like the gym, I’ve made lots of friends throughout the past few years, but recently I just visited the new gym in Salem off Lancaster and I would really like to see some of those upgrades added to our gym! The bathrooms there are so much nicer and up-to-date! The layout of the Salem gym makes way more sense and they have way more cable machines than Albany! I feel the space they utilize there is way more efficient than Albany and I would love to see that incorporated into our gym!

Fantastic experience: Always a 5 at Albany, OR Physic. Staff are all polite and helpful. The club is always clean and neat. I love coming here. I usually come in and tan in a stand up tanning unit. I work out by stepping and doing exercises for biceps, triceps, chest, traps and delta. Standing crunches and laps. Each move is done to a count of 60 which usually moves me through the 10 mins timer. If I haven’t done enough time, I continue or march depending on how much time is done. ***8/14/2024 today is my 70th birthday. Where else would i want to spend some time than the Albany Physiq gym. Much of what i wrote before is the same. The only changes are it’s gotten better. Ive gotten to know more people, gotten to know some of the training staff. They are great. Dom works very hard to help clients realize their fitness goals by problem solving roadblocks to utilizing the skills of the trainers. I have been able to meet with Maureen who is Amaaazing. I look forward to more training with her. She is wonderful!
