Fantastic experience: I love this gym. The staff is very friendly, and it’s super clean. Great equipment, and they recently moved the heavy dumbbells to the top rack. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I love American Muscle! Jason, the owner, is friendly, kind and super knowledgeable. He takes pride in his business and is always making sure everyone is happy. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, including the trainers. They have all the equipment you could want, including group classes. The hours are great, cost is extremely reasonable, and the other gym goers are cool too.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to American Muscle and Fitness for three years. I started by working out with a trainer there who is extremely knowledgeable and helped me get in the best shape of my adult life. Since then, I’ve been attending a kickboxing class that the gym offers which is a pleasant mix of fun and hard work. The coaches and women in the class have become a second family to me. I look forward to seeing them each week and pushing one another to be our best selves.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful gym! A great environment that is conducive to bettering myself and achieving my goals. All of the staff there are super helpful and transparent. The owner is always around and willing to help with any needs you have. He especially handled the pandemic very well and is always looking for ways to improve an already great gym! I workout by myself and never had to worry about finding a spotter. All the equipment is in great condition. 10/10 would recommend American Muscle & Fitness to anyone looking to better themselves physically.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a local guy to the Green Ohio area, but visited this gym while traveling. If you like/need to deadlift and squat this place is awesome. Very nice people, very nice machines/equipment, fully outffited Turf, sleds, hex bar, bands, tires, etc. Highly recommend this gym. Go forth and do Great works. --Smiles

Fantastic experience: I was in Akron for work for just a couple months and they made it so easy for me to work out there temporarily which I wouldn't have been able to do at a big corporate chain gym. Staff was always very nice and inviting. This gym has all the equipment you need plus more. The turf area in the back is really cool too and perfect for getting warmed up.

Fantastic experience: Finally a place In PLX! The American Muscle and Fitness Center is ever changing and growing, the newest addition to the plaza off 619 and Main.. Free Weights, Treadmills, Turf and Slam wall, Yoga and classroom.. Has everything you would need, Any questions on how to target something just ask the friendly helpful staff members.. Get locked in ASAP before the prices jump with new equipment!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym in town. It’s a community when you walk in, always someone to say hi to and you feel like your missing out when you miss a day. Jason has gone above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and provide the best place to get your mind & body right. There’s a kids room for kids to play, watch tv, or do homework in while the parents workout, clean locker rooms with lockers for your stuff. Different classes throughout the week too to mix it up. I love it way better than other gyms I had memberships to.

Fantastic experience: Great staff. Safety oriented and judge free. The owner was helping me out with my workout one morning because my coach couldn't make it. They also do classes on weekends but I've yet to attend.

Nice mix of high quality machines and plenty of space to get things done! Did I mention the indoor turf?! Amazing for taking a bootcamp class or taking out your aggression on a tire.
