Forever Fitness 24

Negative experience: Was an amazing gym. Now that its moving to north canton, I can no longer attend. The instagram page promised refunds and I am being ignored trying to get mine. I know it sucks having to move over there, but I, as a college student, need that money to switch gyms. This is not to slander, but just stating whats gone down recently.

Negative experience: 8-5-24, drove by today and all equipment is cleared out. Simple sign on door says closed but gives no explanation or thanks to former members. Tried leaving a suggestion on Google maps saying closed but can’t.

Positive experience: Is it true that planet fitness has taken over forever fitness in tri County Plaza in lakemore?

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Plenty of equipment, even when busy. My only criticism is they are moving to the south, out of the region.

Fantastic experience: This is a very nice gym first class equipment the staff is very polite and kind I highly recommend anyone looking for a home gym. The only complaint is that they only play heavy metal music, which is disgusting. And the music is pretty loud for a gym. Overall a nice place to get your work out.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Spacious with a lot of versatile equipment. Staff is really friendly and are always busy cleaning or doing the laundry baskets. Super clean to include the men's bathroom. Reasonable rates with a veteran discount available for those of us who served.

Negative experience: General manager doesn't provide a safe environment especially for women with all the steroided out meat heads trying to start fights with members. For that reason we give it a 1 star rating.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO!!!! They’re liars! All they care about is your money. Not a friendly environment, AT ALL. That gym went to hell when James took his last breath.

Negative experience: Terrible gym . They don’t care about the people at the gym or the employees at the gym . All they care about is saving face ! Maybe it’ll be a better place if you fire the management .

Negative experience: Awful people, management is extremely incompetent, especially the “manager” Joe. They try to portray a friendly supportive environment, but only if it benefits their name no matter the expense to others. Save yourself a headache and take your business elsewhere .

Negative experience: Not a friendly or safe environment for those new or at an intermediate level in fitness. There doesn’t seem to be any code of conduct for members. People are free to call you names with no repercussions. Update: I’m glad so many people are coming forward. We can’t let a bad manager destroy a good local spot.

Negative experience: Terrible Manager JOE LEIDEL likes to show up to businesses in the area and threaten the workers for passing out flyers in the plaza. Running his thumb across his throat telling the workers and the manager at the nail shop down the street, that he was going to “unalive them” He appears to be an Army flunky on his Facebook page and acts as if he could become a bigger problem in the future. Wouldn’t trust my worst enemy to send his family to this establishment, or the entire plaza knowing he is employed here. A police report was made for this incident. Such a shame because the location and the equipment of this gym are magnificent. The rest of the staff are a delight.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym. I signed up for a year a couple months ago,but never came in until about a week ago,and after giving it a chance, absolutely love it. Initially it was to "fitness'y" for me,to much equipment,just to pretty. Joe,and Jordan at the desk- some of the nicest people you would want to meet. Can't be beat.

Positive experience: Great place to keep for if you don't have a real working job. If you sit behind a desk or work as a cashier things of that sorry that don't have a lot of physical activity. Then this would be a good gym to belong to. I work pretty hard for my living so going to a gym is not my thing. But that's just my opinion.

Negative experience: Whole place went to complete TRASH since James sadly isn't there anymore. Management has no idea how to run a business and the new owner & "manager" are the most selfish people I've ever met in my life. Mens bathroom is never working which is a huge issue. I am beyond happy I don't support a gym that treats their members and staff so horribly Get fit 24/7 in Fairlawn is the place to go if you want 24/7 access to a gym!!! Management there is amazing. I will never recommend one of my clients or a single soul to this gym. Save your money

Positive experience: Honest review, the equipment is amazing. Maintenence is sub par. I watched this gym from the beginning grow into something amazing. This gym was a dream gym for any fitness enthusiast. It seems, from rejoining and being a part of this gym for the past 5 years that, the soul of this gym is just not there. Maybe this club needs someone to take over to keep sliders dream alive. Would hate to witness the downfall of literally one of my favorite places in the world go away. I urge the new management to come up with a plan so this gym can thrive again because this place for many, is what saves them.

Negative experience: Half the plaza is now vacant : there's not a single large store remaining . A layer of dust and lack of competent professional staff makes this Gym unworthy of my presence .

Fantastic experience: Great gym with plenty of machines and weights. Very clean and most of the people who go there are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility. Very clean. All quality machines. Repaired quickly if needed. The only drawbacks are some members who refuse to wipe down equipment after use and those who sit endlessly on machines while on their telephones. It's a gym children, not an internet café.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for a year. Awesome, well-equipped gym with a large variety of machines. Constantly improving the layout and investing in new equipment. Broken machines always repaired within a week or so. Rarely have to wait on equipment even during crowded hours due to several different power racks, benches, cables, & 2 full sets of dumbbells.

Fantastic experience: The place is great for weightlifting and general work out body building etc.Very clean friendly people..I personally wish they had a lifting area with bumper plates that you can drop on rubber mats for HIT and CF style work outs and 1 or 2 Airodyn bikes that work so you can keep track of Cal burned, time espe ialy when sprinting etc. Maybe a Concept 2 skierg some Rouge sand bags 50 and 120 # wall ball area a couple heavier KB 50, 80, 100# in pairs A 4 person rig for pull ups and accessory work plus a Sauna..That would be a great gym. .

Fantastic experience: This gym is awesome! Big variety of leg machines and plate loaded machines that you just cant find anywhere else. Gym is very clean and has plenty of space. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Awesome equipment!!!!

Negative experience: One star due to the younger crowd at night who come in and film. They are rude, loud and take over many pieces of equipment and just sit around. I have an hour a day to complete my workout and waiting around for people to take pictures isn’t what I expected when I signed up.

Positive experience: This gym is great. Best in area in my opinion and I have been to several others. Fantastic variety of good equipment. I've been going here for a couple years now and they are always getting new equipment to keep it fresh. The new leg room is awesome. All that said the only reason I don't give it a 5 star is the music. Maybe something changed recently with both the music that is played and the volume. I use on ear headphones and have to crank it all the way to not hear the lousy hip hop that's been blaring in the background. This was never an issue before and I love this gym so I would suggest noise cancelling headphones if you want to watch tv while doing cardio or to listen to your own music.

At least I can fix this one and I'll give you 5 stars just for being that concerned about your business and what the public thinks! That shows me that your fitness center probably deserves it!! So sorry and thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I been attending this gym since it first open and loved it. Now the new owner took it up another notch especially with the great workout equipment that actually tones and builds bulk i wouldnt prefer any other gym. This gym is very clean and spacious i highly recommend anyone that wants to lose weight and tone up to attend.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for four years. This is the best gym you will every go to. Locally owned and not part of a chain, the owner puts back into the gym. The variety you have is unlike any other and just constantly improves. It is clean, broken items are fixed fast and the staff is great.

Fantastic experience: My personal favorite gym and only one ill go to. They provide wash cloths and disinfectant spray bottles so you can clean before and after you use machines... don't know any other gym that does this. I happily drive the 20 min here because of this

Negative experience: I called forever fitness today to inquire about gym membership programs for senior citizens age 65 and up. The girl who answered the phone did not seem very knowledgeable about the gym and specific questions I needed answered. I have never been to a gym before and wanted to know how the process works and the availability of a personal trainer. I was told I could use a personal trainer but he charges money but she could not tell me how much that was. I was told that there was Zumba classes but I could not be told how much those were. she said if I had Silver Sneakers I could join for free I do not have that plan. I do have a different one and I'm not sure what it covers which was what I was trying to find out. I guess I should have paid a visit to this establishment instead of calling. Management needs to make sure that their staff can answer the questions that I had instead of saying, umm, I'm not sure, umm, you'd have to ask the trainer. Umm, I don't know. Very unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I LOVE THIS GYM! They have everything you need to work every muscle group, a great selection of cardio equipment and a dedicated deadlifting room. What I love is the privacy I have while back squatting and deadlifting. The squat racks are not in the open, but tucked back into a separate area. They have equipment that most gyms do not have, for instance, an assault bike (which I love!), prowler sled with harness, a HIITMILL-X self-powered incline treadmill, arc trainers, and step mills. FF24 has rooms/areas specifically for the upper body, and lower body, TRX suspension trainers, three cable crossover machines, a CrossFit area with battle ropes, tractor tire, parallettes, boxing equipment and countless bosu, medicine and yoga balls. The staff is amazing! They are very helpful, friendly (they greet you and know your name) and they aren’t sitting behind a desk on their phones. They are vacuuming, mopping and wiping down the ENTIRE machine. The gym is the cleanest I have ever been to-no dust bunnies, the mirrors are without smudges and it was just freshly painted. It’s obvious that the owner and staff care about their gym! Of course, the machines break down from time to time, but the maintenance sign is up for a day (instead of for weeks like other gyms) and the machine is fixed and ready to be used. The tanning beds are great too! Did I mention they have duplicates of many machines, so you don’t have to wait for a leg press, hamstring curl or glute drive machine?! The monthly fee is cheap too! Its absolutely, 100%, hands down the best gym in the area!

Fantastic experience: No other gym compares to FF24! The gym is always clean, has a great lifting environment and is always welcoming no matter what experience you have in working out. They offer boot camp and Zumba classes throughout the week. There are awesome machines to use, lots of leg machines which I love. The owner and staff truly care about their members. I highly recommend this gym!!

Great weight machines, free weights, cardio machines, seperate rooms for dead-lifting and other specialty workouts. Clean, comfortable and a very freindly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this gym for beginners, novices and experts looking to get or stay in shape.

Fantastic experience: This gym is awesome. I'd gone here under a different ownership, and I was pleasantly surprised when I was shopping for gyms again at the work the new owner had put into it. That was about two and a half years ago. They have made MANY improvements since then. It is always clean. And....the staff is incredibly helpful. I had a locker issue once (somehow someone "locked" my locker), and they went above and beyond to help out. Great equipment, and people are there to work out, not stand around and chill. Which is a plus in my book. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: After years of working out at the YMCA, I became fed up with poor hours and the weight room always being overcrowded. In July of 2016, I decided to try Forever Fitness 24. The gym is always clean and has a lot of equipment to choose from. I usually end up working out around 9-10 PM and it's not uncommon to see the owner working hard to improve the the gym, even late at night. The employees who sit at the front desk are also always staying busy, whether it's answering questions or sweeping the floor. Members of the gym are polite, respectful and never make fun of other members - a huge relief to beginners. I have really enjoyed my membership and plan to renew for another year. The only thing I would like to see are showers in the locker room. Thank you FF24!

Fantastic experience: Many machines and equipment available and always adding more. This place has been an amazing upgrade for anyone needing to step up from places like planet fitness. Don't get me wrong this place is awesome for beginners as well. Do yourself a favor and at least check the place out you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Veryyy clean! Plenty of spray bottles and towels, staff consistently keeping the gym uncluttered and organized. The gym has plenty of free weights and some very nice ISO-lateral machines. Lots of low impact cardio equipment, stair steppers, treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and row machines. There are TVs and mirrors around the entire gym, along with a tanning section. There is a designated deadlift room with bounce plates and three squat racks. The staff and patrons are friendly and knowledgeable. The size and quality of this 24hr gym is great, it is extremely affordable for what it is and what it has to offer.

Fantastic experience: I walked into Forever Fitness because of the close proximity to my home. I was surprised when I took a look around at all of the various equipment and cleanliness of the gym. I am always greeted with a smile and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend especially due to the flexible hours and even during busy hours there are enough machines/free weights to complete your workout.
