Fantastic experience: My son has been attending Cage Combat for at least a couple of years now, he loves it! We love it! All the staff and coach have been nothing but AMAZING! We have enjoyed being apart of this gym family. Attending fight nights to watch coaches compete is something we love to do as a family. Not only does my son attend but so do a couple of my nephews. We love cage combat academy!! Our experience has been nothing been amazing!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had my son other trainers, and hands down I am happy to say even though there are many students they manage to teach each individually if any student is having trouble with the techniques and I’ve seen progress in my son.

Fantastic experience: I have been training here for a few months and in the little time that i've been here its been amazing the coaches and staff are absolutely amazing, The coaches always go out there way to make sure to work with you so you can climb to be the best possible version of yourself and the whole environment is just very family oriented and overall amazing. My first tournament really showed me just how supportive everyone with the cage combat team can be and I truly appreciate all they have done for me.

Fantastic experience: I started before they renovated and would have to say it was getting tight but even then the coaches always did a great job making sure Everyone was being seen and helped and growing. I work a full time job I go to school and wanted something to keep me interested and it has. It’s a very positive, friendly, family oriented vibe with good owners, staff and students and good people and teammates. I’m not a contract person so I like the pay in full option and I also appreciated Jacky going over all the expectations, rules, fees etc in detail up front with the sign up packetso I was informed and never felt like anything was hidden. I had an issue like this at a gym in Rancho and I was cautious when starting here and gave Jacky a lot of questions and concerns but it was all in the sign up packet and have never had any issues in regards to fees or finances. Jacky did a good job giving all the Info up front. Based on personal experience of 3 + years as a member I am happy I feel well trained and after the renovations I believe this is the nicest, most modern, cleanest MMA/Bjj gym in the desert with top notch coaching by a high level experienced coach and veteran of the sport, Coach Alex. He is an extremely patient and gifted coach… his attention to detail and ability to Coach and pass technique to his students like myself has kept me here because I keep learning growing and getting better. I’m not looking to compete but I feel like if I wanted too I would be able to with the type of training I am receiving. I know for the people that want to fight they are doing very well. The owners are both great people inside and outside of the gym they volunteer with the community and have opened opportunities for members to join in on that as well. I found out about the gym from a friend that is a neighbor to the Reyes family and they recommended I try the gym based on knowing they personally so I did and I have been very happy here.They do a lot for their students and they have passed that helpfulness down to their staff. Jacky is super friendly kind and always checking in if I miss classes. Coach Mike and Coach Dylan are both patient and knowledgeable and also Sensi Mike and Sensi glen. I feel overall the people and other families at this gym are all like minded good people and are here to enjoy the sport.

Fantastic experience: I feel obligated to share my positive experience with CCA after seeing unfair reviews from two previous members. From involvement with both parents these claims are sad and very dishonest.. because in speaking with them they always talked about how great the gym was and how incredible the staff was and how much their children had gained from the gym, and how Coach Alex was an amazing Coach and mentor. Sad to see that Out of spite how they are trying to hurt good people and a wonderful business, but such as life and it got me to sit down and write this from my personal experience We've been part of this gym since 2020, and despite initial hesitation due to the drive from AV, returning after Covid was one of the best decisions we've made for our kids' and family. We were at a gym in AV and after our contract was up we knew we had to go back to CCA where we initially really wanted to be but didn't go becuase of the drive. We are grateful for their genuinely friendly and caring environment that feels like family. Coach Alex and his wife are wonderful owners who have created a loving culture. Jacky, the gym manager is always helpful & Coaches Mike and Dylan are both motivating and positive and all are wonderful role models! The gym is clean & well-organized, really BIG on hygiene and cleanliness and they are true to their word from everything we have always encountered. They have always provided all needed info regarding fees and uniforms and are great about communication via email and an app. They do SO much for the community and the kids at the gym with lots of pot lucks, parties, celebrations, game nights, helping charities, feeding the homeless, etc. In regards to tournaments, we have one of our two kids competing, we've participated in 6 out of the 7 tournaments just this year and CCA got a 10th place overall in the ADCC, which is a highly regarded tournament :) If you're considering a gym, CCA is the best investment we've made for our family's journey in this sport! But do your due diligence, try gyms and see where you and your family fit and feel the best because though we didn’t have a “bad” experience at our previous gym this was just a better fit overall and was more of the culture we wanted to be apart of. We are happy and grateful to CCA and their entire staff for all they do. I could never express the gratitude and thanks we have for the love and confidence and knowledge they have given our kiddos!

Fantastic experience: My son has been a member of Cage Combat Academy for quite some time now, and he thoroughly enjoys his time there. The staff and owners have always been incredibly professional and kind to my family, ensuring that my child stay engaged and has a great time. However, it’s highly suspicious that these complaints are only now coming to light after half a decade of membership. Moreover, these individuals were removed from the gym and gone for months before they decided to make unfounded allegations and spread rumors about the gym. It seems like they’re trying to make a big deal out of nothing. I feel terrible for Coach Alex, as he’s such a kind and dedicated coach.

Fantastic experience: Great gym Alex and Rosalie are both outstanding owners who treat everyone With respect, Alex trained my daughter for several years Probably one of the most honorable men I know Never has a bad word to say about anyone even when they aren’t so nice themselves unfortunately Alex can be a bit of a people pleaser to the point where people take his kindness for weakness. It is unfortunate. Also that I am seeing these false comments being posted on this Google page solely to draw negativity against the gym out of spite it’s highly suspicious that someone can go to a gym for five years ,half a decade not addressing any of said claims and then, finally when they are removed from the gym because of their bad behavior towards other children in the gym, parents, etc. they now want to circle back after being gone for months and start making unfounded claims all you would have to do is look at the character of the people posting these Ridiculous accusations to understand they are simply vindictive and completely baseless.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a loyal member of Cage Combat for many years, and it’s disheartening to see misleading reviews that unfairly tarnish Alex’s reputation. He’s an exceptional coach who not only cares for his students but also dedicates significant time and effort to building their confidence. In his defense, I’ve witnessed these women taking no responsibility for their actions and causing nothing but trouble. It’s evident that after “years of loyalty”, their experience has taken a turn for the worse. These reviews are condescending and dismissive. As a long-time member, I can attest that I’ve never had any issues with Cage Combat. They’re incredibly kind and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I’m glad myself , my husband and children train at this gym, it took me a while to join but seeing how far my husband and daughter have came with all the help from the coaches Alex, Dylan and Michael the amount of patience they have, is crazy lol because my daughter can make it hard sometimes, but I decided to join , my daughter absolutely loves this gym it’s home to her , it’s her safe place, she even said if we move states she refuses to train at another gym and will drop out of jiu jitsu, I’m blessed to say it feels like family in there the amount of help they receive from all the coaches is amazing they make it safe and comfortable for everyone, no judging just support, and thank you to the owners Rosalie and Alex Reyes , and front desk Jacky for always being so on top of everything and info, we’re blessed to be apart of cage combat academy family and excited to see what my daughters future holds with you guys how far she will go, thank you also the new renovations are amazing!!! They have elite coaches who have established themselves in the MMA scene and are eager to work with everybody regardless of skill set and experience. The environment is amazing and they have students of all age groups. As I travel a lot, the owners have been very flexible with me about my payments and how I can contribute to my hours of training. Definitely the best gym I’ve visited, but not just because of the level of teaching they provide, but also because of the hospitality. Can’t wait to continue my journey with Cage Combat!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training here for years had no problems with anyone of my training partners even new people , I’ve had no complaints , I’ve had no infections or anything and doing so such as always cleaning after using the equipments and spraying everything down at the end of training , the environment is perfect I always have laughs and it’s never a dull moment training with the coaches , the coaches are super hands on making sure you get down the technique even if you don’t understand it at the end of the training the coaches will always been willing to help give pointers so never be afraid to ask the coaches are super friendly with every students training, Cagecombat’s builds confident and gives you that extra step to bettering your in self defense.

Fantastic experience: Update: 4/14/2025 There is a huge upgrade in the entire building. It has expanded greatly and there is so much room. The staff continues to be beyond amazing. I would recommend paying a visit. —————————————————————————- The Staff is amazing: my daughter has benefited from interpersonal skills as she learns the Arts. Location is Right: they are going through renovations in which (don’t mind the dust) gives hope for more tools to improve and make safety a priory as my child learns to regulate her strength, energy and emotions. Fellow Parents are part of the Cage Combat family: we learn to get a bow from our kiddos. They push the limits to remember a word, a definition and the fact that it is team effort when you train. We just get to watch all of this develop. Make sure to write it all up on the weekly report so they can get that promotion. All in all, I am glad to have found a place as this one. It will not be the only one for my kiddo, but it will be great times to talk about down the road with the family. Or maybe Coach Alex is my kid’s new UFC hero and she will be the next title holder someday. My kid is the one making the journey. I am just here ensuring this is morally and financially right. Do I have a negative review? If we all complain about not being pleased, we will never be happy. Just ensure you’re there on time, or take your anxiety meds as there aren’t many seats right now (construction… remember?) and it might get overwhelming at times. I’ve walked in and out numerous times and am labeled “being everywhere” and as a silly combat veteran with weird anxiety when it gets too crowded. I can handle the cold, so I can watch my kid from outside… but as it happened to me.. a family member may feel comfortable enough say along these lines: “you look like a creep”. I am still trying to be part of their tight group as there is always one everywhere. But grouchy vets aren’t really liked in some places. So, parents… early, sit and let the coaches do the job. Anyway. We all can’t be pleased equally nor on the same facets. so just F around and find out. lol Abe

Fantastic experience: Our family has been going to Cage Combat since March 2019 when my son was 3 years-old. We enrolled him in classes because we were looking for him to learn self-discipline, understand an organized sport, and be active. Little did we know that we would gain so much more. Cage Combat has become our family, our home away from home. The coaches have carried our family through joyous moments and difficult times, being a constant source of encouragement and motivation for our boys to keep going and never give up no matter what life has thrown at them. The coaches have each been a pillar of support for my son who was experiencing daily bullying at school for over a year. Not once did my son retaliate or use his jiu jitsu techniques at school. Instead, he received mentorship, guidance, and developed inner strength when his self-esteem was shot. He rose above the situation and came up on top when the bullying stopped. The coaches have helped to reign in my other son, who had developed some aggression due to traumatic experiences he faced. They have taught him to channel his aggression in a healthy way and to take responsibility for his actions. They have helped him to overcome adversity to where he is now a young man of greater character. My boys have had the opportunity to compete in dozens of jiu jitsu competitions all over Southern California and even in Las Vegas against some of the best competitors in the country. Win or lose, the coaches have been there to guide our boys to become better and stronger fighters in many ways. I highly recommend Cage Combat. No gym is perfect, but what I can say is that all of the staff care about each student and dedicate their time to investing in their present and future.

Cage combat offers a variety of different classes for all age groups. The coaches are amazing and my son really looks up to all of them. Negative experience: The worst place to take your kids!! The owners mix business with pleasure. They keep a small circle of friends close and if a situation occurs within that circle, they will always side with their "friends". Wrong way to run a business, in my opinion. The owners (Alex & Rosalie) are young and still don't know the correct ways of how to run a business, especially Rosalie. Rosalie is ignorant and she only cares about their pockets getting bigger. All the bad reviews are true. The owners mask the bad reviews by getting their staff and friends to write "good" reviews. This business is not good. Alex and Rosalie certainly have their favorites.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely cannot recommend Cage Combat enough! I have 3 kids here. They run their classes with specific goals, very organized and with multiple attentive coaches. My kids have grown so much here and they continue to improve with the way their coaches push them. All the coaches are not only inspiring at their MMA skills but also have such a strong respectable way with kids. And the family vibe here is the cheery on top! …. ***adding in something in response to a review I seen below..: she said her kids didn’t get attention like others … I don’t know her or the situation but I just want to say even amongst my own 3 kids that should happen… some kids can only take so much at a time. The coaches push each kid to their own potential and that is the best part !

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to multiple gyms & have had bad experiences that stopped me from learning jiu jitsu. But in the beginning of February, I joined & it’s been such a wonderful experience. All the coaches are super personal & genuine. Head Coach Alex, & his wife, Rosalie have been so welcoming & selfless from the moment I got there. Wonderful gym in general! There are many gyms to choose from in the HD, but if you’re looking for a safe place with family oriented values & great teachings for you & your littles. I’d definitely recommend Cage Combat!!

Negative experience: Both my boys attended this academy some years ago. We were happy they were doing something at first but we slowly started noticing that it was all about the money and propaganda. The gym is particularly very small for how much we paid a month. It got so crowded they began saying only one parent per child can attend practice. The main coach seems like he makes a good amount of money on his business and UFC fights that I would imagine he would consider a bigger gym so both parents and students could be comfortable but he just began to charge even more for everything and seemed like he focused more on the kids who were “better” . I see that he is still in the same small gym even after he would tell us he would consider q bigger gym. I love all his other coaches they were the ones who paid more attention to my boys. If you like paying big prices for a small gym & If your kid is good enough then this is for you. If not I wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic experience: If youre looking for a family friendly gym in the high desert to learn Jiu Jitsu and striking, this is it! All of the coaches are excellent with kids of all ages, teenagers and adults. Alex, Jeremy, Dillan and Mike are all extremely experienced in Jiu Jitsu, Grappling and Striking and all of them compete. There are different levels of people training and working with each other here everyday. There are no egos here that I've seen, all of the coaches are very humble and meet you at your level. Everyone helps everyone out. So don't worry, you'll fit right in regardless of your skill level, new or a black belt. Its fun, it's always super clean, and it's very well organized!

As a homeschooling family, our energetic and rambunctious son needed an outlet to express his athletic ability; and CCA has been the perfect fit. Their cleanly facility, family friendly environment and professional coaching staff, keeps us with them for the long haul.

Fantastic experience: We have been at Cage Combat Academy for almost a year now, since both my boys (ages4 and 11 stepped foot in the cage they fell in love with the sport, not only that but their confidence level boosted and each and everyday look forward to the next day in class. the staff is very friendly and always attentive to the needs of students and parents. Fantastic experience: We have sent our two boys to cage combat academy for over a year now and we have nothing but amazing things to say about it. Our boys have grown so much not only in the sport but in self discipline and respect for people. We have seen a huge difference in there overall behavior both at home and school. We have competed in several tournaments under the coaching of Alex Reyes and the other coaches at cage combat and we couldn’t be happier with the preparation, and time they put into getting our kids ready. The staff at cage combat is professional, organized and all around amazing. As you can tell I can’t say enough good things about this gym. We love it and don’t plan on going anywhere! Highly recommend trying this gym out. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best place to train for kids and adults. Their trainers and receptionist are exceptional. They are very friendly and make it enjoyable for my son to train. We as a family love going to Cage Combat, it's definitely our home away from home. The gym is always top notch and I feel at ease taking my son knowing they take all the necessary precautions to keep the gym clean. My son's behavior has improved dramatically. Him knowing he can earn an "accountability" stripe to add to his belt every Wednesday really helps keep him on his best behavior. He looks up to his coaches and strives to be his best at all times. The positive reinforcement he gets from the coaches make his day. They correct him when needed but never in a mean way and I really appreciate that. My son completed in his very first wrestling tournament this year in San Diego. The tournament is called Naga and let me tell you the experience was amazing thanks to the coaches. They helped my son improve so much in his wrestling skills in such a short time that he placed 1st and 2nd in two different categories. Cage Combat also has boxing and Jiu Jitsu, which is also so much fun for not only my son, but also for us as parents to watch him advance in so many different skills each class teaches. If your looking for a positive, family driven gym there is no better place than with Coach Alex and Rosalie from Cage Combat. They go above and beyond for their students and I couldn't be more grateful for them! Can't wait to see all your new, faces trust me you won't regret it!!

Fantastic experience: I used to train down the hill when I was little for 4 years and then moved up to the high desert. My family found Cage Combat Academy and we instantly felt welcomed. We have been training there for 8 almost 9 years now and I have loved every second of it. Alex is the best mentor and martial arts practitioner I have ever met. Cage Combat is my home and I will always recommend it to anyone at all ages. they have amazing classes that not only teach martial arts but also discipline and self respect. Started to train with 0 experience and I've learned everything from him and now fighting as a professional. Definately would recommend to anyone all ages, with experience or none.

Fantastic experience: I love cage combat. I've been doing the women's cardio kickboxing for about four years and the environment has always been positive, friendly and very family oriented. The work outs are fun and tough and never seem to get easier which is great since we're constantly pushing our limits. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a workout while learning useful fighting skills from UFC fighter Alex Reyes and from coach Albert who is working his way to the UFC.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say CC Academy is one of the best gym to join. After having my girls try different places they felt more at place with CC Academy. They work with them. Being patent with 6 yr old who is very hyper. They are also working with my 8 yr old out of her shell and not to being shy. They treat everyone like family. No one judging anyone. Very relax atmosphere. Staffing is great also. I talk to Casey Fazzio and he show me around with my girls. Very clean and well kept place. I recommend calling Casey and set up your walk thru. So you can enjoy a great place for your family or just you.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training here for about 4 1/2 years now and I love it! My 3 kids are all a part of the programs. Not only does it provide self defense and discipline, but they have great family get togethers outside of the gym too. They have the best coaches anyone could ask for. Patient and willing to give that one on one time to make sure everyone gets the technique. It’s always clean, and a family friendly atmosphere. They even have drinks for sale if you forget one. I look forward to going everyday. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. So happy I found Cage Combat for my family. ❤️

Fantastic experience: I’ve tried a few gyms in the hi desert but this was the best fit for me. It’s more of a family environment very laid back but professional and is very clean and organized , it’s in a nice area. Alex the Owner is a great instructor and has a lot of experience and I’ve learned a lot since starting here about a year ago. Highly recommend for families, my niece also attends the kids program and loves it.

Negative experience: All about the money!! Look elsewhere

Negative experience: This place is all about the money, my son got sick and could not attend we called and got the run around and paid for a year when my son could only attend maybe six weeks. They never called to see why he wasn't there and when I called to let them know it wasn't safe for him to come, they would not help they wanted a bunch of money to cancel. They will call quick if there is ever a problem with payments. Our gym in Oregon was so kind and worked with everyone, money was not the main thing they cared about. Make sure you read the fine print and remember this gym is only in it for the money. If I could give o stars I would. They remind me of a bad decision to order something on the TV where you get charged every month and have to call your bank to get it stopped. Find a gym that cares about the students.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional only about the money and the contract. Other gyms work with the students on paying and allowing a break in payments when there is a medical issue. Not the best gym we have dealt with that is for sure. look around and find a gym that cares about what they are teaching to the students and community. Look at the giant rock on the owners wifes hand and that is what kind of place this is all about the bling (money) your money to be exact.

Fantastic experience: I have two sons at the CC Academy . this program is solid . Don't believe me come try it out.
