Fantastic experience: Very cool, pool Jacuzzi and Sauna, they have a free trial of 3 days I would encourage people to try the vibe, really good if you have kids.

Fantastic experience: This is a well maintained workout facility with lots of workout equipment. Staff is always friendly and helpful! Facility always clean.

Negative experience: I want to inform all the parents to be cautious about using the kid zone. I had to file a sexual harassment incident that happened to my child from other children and it didn’t happen once but twice. I trusted this corporation of staff with my child and they failed me twice. This is unexceptable. The manager didn’t seem concerned about what happened to my child . I got no kind of call or any feedback from the corporate or anything. My concern is why weren’t our children being supervised and cared for when there’s adults that are supposed to be present and there to make sure our kids are safe at all times in their care. That’s my concern . This kind of incident can affect a child in so many negative ways .Yet they didn’t seem to think so.

Fantastic experience: Victorville North is worth going in the gym of In Shape there is great instructors, classes, pools even machines. Also showers are good before getting to Therapy Pool, Hot Tub, and regular pool so does Steam and Sauna room.

Negative experience: Restrooms are often not stocked with toilet paper, toilet seat covers and soap. We also were allowed to use the pool noodles for family swim time and now all of a sudden they're only for swim classes... what's the point of paying a $90 a year maintenance fee if they don't properly maintain the place???

Negative experience: This place is VERY FILTHY AND DISORGANIZED. I go in the bathroom and there's papers everywhere on the floor on the counters. Every surface looks like it hasn't been wiped down in a couple years. Weights dumbbells, barbells, just all over the place, not rewrecked, or put back in their places. It tells you how much the people care about the place

Fantastic experience: Came in on a free trial for the first time on Wednesday July 9th and coming from a place like la fitness & 24 I was expecting it to be packed on a Wednesday evening & the machines being all taken, but I was wrong. The facility is so big that even though it is packed, they’re still machines and enough room to work out peacefully. I really like the upstairs how you can walk or run laps. I give it five stars and I will definitely be buying a membership

Positive experience: all the options are amazing. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the lack of sanitising stations/equipment. Often, the wipes are out or the bottles are empty. I wish all members would participate in quiet relaxation in the massage area. Having phone conversations at full voice is disruptive to others using the space because it is so small. The child minding option is an amazing benefit with kind and friendly teachers in the kid zone. I appreciate all the work the child care minders do, and love that they have fun anecdotes to share about our child.

Positive experience: The gym is cool but dirty especially the kids area my kids are fine and as soon as we go there they get some kind of sickness the sauna stinks like it never gets cleaned, under the bench there’s tons of hair that’s been sitting there for months

Fantastic experience: I just got a membership for my whole family today and forgot to let a manager know that I was extremely impressed with whoever it was (sorry didn't remember the name) that gave me the tour and info this morning. He was overly professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I'm kind of old and don't give praise easily, I expect bare minimum of people. Personally I'd give him a management position asap.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service the moment you walk into the facility at any given day. Teamwork and collaboration within the representatives are very apparent. Classes offered are plenty, and trainers are friendly and very optimistic and supportive. All equipments are well kept and organized in a matter that it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. So many types of workout can be done in a single facility and not at all intimidating to try something new or to use anything this gym offers. I appreciate all the sanitizing spray and water refills stations that are available for anyone to use throughout the facility. I love the different clients that this gym serves, from younger to mature crowds, people who just want to stay active and take advantage of the lighter-side of body movements, others who work out religiously and it shows, even the children has their own zone to stay active with watchful grownups in a play room. And yes, there exist a sauna room and a steam room, a pool, spa tub (jacuzzi), showers to rinse form chlorine, and locker rooms that you can fully get ready in with a private changing room.

Fantastic experience: 98 lb weakling? Muscle head? Undergrad? Senior? Male? Female? None of it matters because they're all here and I've never felt intimidated. A beautiful, clean, spacious facility, with friendly staff, an excellent variety of free weights, machines, and a surprising number of classes,, most of which are open to basic members. Could the showers be cleaner? Of course, but people complain about that at every club and the one's at In-Shape are far cleaner than any I've seen. I do a lot of research before I join anything and they've exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is the water pressure in the showers is too low. On a side note, Kali is a great trainer.

Negative experience: I was starting to like In-Shape but the atmosphere is terrible. it’s just too many weird people and employees the heavy set white guy tells me oh did you check in 05/13/25 around 2:20 pm after going to my car to get something like I’m sure I checked in I’m not a kid and definitely not an idiot and way too many creepy crazy people walking around in that gym I think I’ll go back to 24 hour fitness and it not clean at all a really good way to catch a germ and get sick

Negative experience: I’ll start with the good this gym has a great selection of equipment and it’s usually never overly crowded to the point that I have to wait for machines so I really enjoy that without being said over the last couple months. There has been a clear shift around expectations for employees to clean and stock the bottles of sanitizer and paper towels in the restrooms on multiple occasions, I have gone to almost all of the men’s paper towel dispensers completely empty the other day I saw another guy in the restroom looking for them and also visibly frustrated. I used to be able to go in on the weekends and by then, usually the employees had re-racked the weights that were scattered throughout the gym areas but lately that has also stopped happening. I really want to continue going here, but it’s hard when I see things declining. I did write a review when I received an email and received a call from the assistant general manager, but never had a chance to call him back so hopefully he sees that this still has not been resolved.

Fantastic experience: I like being greeted upon my entry and exit at In-Shape. My personal training assessment with the personal training manager Tevin, was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a gym. He was very professional, appropriate, and provided an individualized approach to my personal fitness goals. I would recommend Tevin as a personal trainer to anyone. He was personable, knowledgeable, and professional. On the contrary, there was a staff member around the steam room yelling at guests very loudly and rudely about guests not being allowed to wear tennis shoes in the steam room. She was very heightened, unprofessional, aggressive, and made me and other members feel very uncomfortable. Her communication was unpolished and demeaning. This type of approach was not appreciated and should never be tolerated.

Positive experience: I really enjoy everything this gym has to offer me the equipment, classes, and overall atmosphere are great, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. However, I do have concerns about the cleanliness of the facility. On a recent visit, I went into the women’s locker room to shower and unfortunately encountered some very unsanitary conditions, including used feminine products left in the shower area and restrooms that were not properly cleaned. There was also an issue with a lack of toilet paper and noticeable messes in both the locker room and front restroom areas. While I truly appreciate the gym’s services and the effort the team puts into creating a welcoming environment, I believe more attention needs to be given to maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. With the membership fees being what they are, it’s reasonable to expect a higher standard of hygiene. I hope this feedback can help bring some improvements in that area.

The only thing that I don’t like is they’re not always 24 hours and when I wanna go, those are the days they close early but other than that, my experience with the gym is very good. I like that they have different things that other gyms don’t offer. I will be recommending this to everybody that I know when they wanna go to the gym very satisfied with this place.

Fantastic experience: In shape is close to home. It is very clean. I feel secure at the facility. Friendly staff. Lots of equipment. The indoor track is excellent. Racquetball courts are always clean and available.

Negative experience: Becareful. I just got an attorney to sue this gym. I recently notified them 3 times that I had 3 surgeries and they will not cancel my membership. They have charged me every month!! Whenever I call they say the manager isn't here. The app is not letting me cancel the membership either. I can't believe they would scam people that are disable so just imagine what they will do to the people who didn't even have surgeries.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoy the spaciousness of this gym, Weight area is great, machine area is a little tight but lots of equipment. Love the elevated track and that it has a cushioned like floor makes cardio so much easier and definitely the kids club is a huge plus!

Fantastic experience: Needed a gym that fit my needs as a mom and the kid zone makes it really easy to get in a workout while allowing my baby girl to socialize. Great, great staff! I love that I can observe the kids zone from the floor. Great machine selection and availability as well.

Fantastic experience: I love the childcare and the workers in there. They are all very friendly and seem to be joyful with the kids each day. My daughter seems to be so excited every day we go here so I know they are doing a great job in there. I love the friendly employees at front desk when I come in usually around 3ish. Jaclyn and another girl with short hair cut and glasses (I don't recall her name) but they both always so happy and greet and say goodbye when leaving. They make the overall experience a great part of my day. I love the family swimming time and look forward to using that when it warms up. I'm also very happy that they expanded the child care times because before it was hard to plan my day based on the time blocks before. I came from Planet Fitness so I love all the equipment, classes, etc..so many options. A little paint on some walls and new toilets would help in restroom, overall I love this place.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym. Clean, well maintained. Staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is top of line. Saunas, spas, jacuzzi, and pool are professionally maintained daily. Ph levels great. Temperatures are perfect.

The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a great workout. very spacious training areas + a variety of secret areas to workout in for my shy gym ppl. The atmosphere is very welcoming. A special shoutout to Jaqueline who truly makes this gym stand out! She is always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help with workouts or answer any questions. Her dedication to creating customer connections & and helping members reach their goals is inspiring. Whether it’s giving form tips, recommending exercises, or just offering encouragement, & a better vibe to in shape Jaqueline goes above and beyond. Positive experience: In-Shape has the entire kitchen sink and more when it comes to workout options. Tons of classes to work out with. An indoor pool for swimming. Tons of machines and weights. An entire track upstairs with older, legacy machines. It has it all. The only negative is order. Sometimes the place has missing weights or weights just scattered where they shouldn't be. Overall, 8.5/10

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy coming to this gym since it's clean and its staff is welcoming and professional! The ladies that work at the Kids Zone are really sweet and treat children and parents with respect, It makes me enjoy my work out knowing that my kid is also having fun! As a parent, I appreciate the Kids Zone organization and cleanliness. The group fitness classes are well-structured. . I'll definitely recommend this gym to others.

Negative experience: If you’re thinking about it just don’t. Coming here for 6 months it’s rif-raf kid getto friendly & no toilet paper in restrooms during busiest hours. Showers take weeks to get fixed. Elderlys are rude and cranky at pool. The log-in app sucks takes no more than 5 minutes to get in the gym. The separated “woman’s area” in gym is why I signed in to go there but there are some really wierd creepy old guys who go in heavily lurking. If you’re mid 40’s with kids and middle-lower class who trying to gym this is an affordable option but I do not recommend this ambiance for those who seek a bit more comfortable clean aesthetic ambiance. All the bad reviews are deleted by owner. Staff is really young and a bit unprofessional they don’t have a janitor for all the times I’ve gone in evening so front desk is often lacking the cleaning duty. Sanitation stations always are running low. Needs renovation. Changing rooms are so dirty I’m not picky but mirrors and walls all around look terrible. I can’t recommend this place for somone.

Fantastic experience: I love and appreciate the friendly atmosphere and privacy everyone maintains here at In-Shape. Their flexible hours allow me to fit my daily workout around my busy schedule. Sometimes I go at 4:30 in the morning and at other times I go late at night. Thank you for making my family and I comfortable while exercising.

Fantastic experience: Me and my wife started coming here 2 weeks ago and ive lost 8lbs and my wife 15lbs with three 2hr workouts a week. This place is huge and really nice well kept and clean.

The only very small thing that I wish that Central Office can reinstate, is the ordering of Gym Bags , for us to be able to EXCHANGE FOR A GYM BAG WITH my lots of Points on my InShape Acct . Do you think you can do that ? ( all you have now at the Victorville Gym, are drinks with sugar in the fridge , OR headbands , to exchange for. I don't care for any of the above !

Fantastic experience: The kid zone sold me on this gym; as I never have a sitter for all 3 kiddos. The facility is clean; the staff are friendly and they literally have everything you need in One gym! The gym hours are perfect as well! Bye bye 24 hr fitness !

Negative experience: 2 months free is not true you still pay the regular amount not sure why they try to be misleading in this area *** in- shape that's not my impression that's my reality. I just joined with the membership five days ago and was charged $40 so if I'm new member why would you take $40 out of my bank account if it's two months free just saying. Also one of the reasons I chose this gym opposed to going into my gym or planet fitness is because you have a pool but the pool is D disgusting I did ask a manager if they could maybe clean it because I like to use it when I go but it's cold, dirty Band-Aids, toilet tissue, rocks, gnats, I'll leave it at that.

Fantastic experience: I always love that they are so friendly at the front desk. I always have a different activity I could do to choose from . Like right now, I just came back from playing Raquetball with my teenage daughter. She was bored, and so we went to have a little play time. It was nice to bond. When the kids area is open , I like to take my 5 year old when there are Zumba classes. My 5 year old likes to go on the slide and draw with other kids.

Fantastic experience: What I like most about In-Shape is the many different classes and all the wonderful instructors. Jocelyn especially goes above and beyond to make all members reach their goals. Jocelyn is very knowledgeable and shares her expertise with everyone and is always available to answer any questions you may have. My only complaint is how dirty they have allowed the floors and mirrors from the classroom Group X to become. The filth and unsanitary conditions are very visible and show neglect. I'm hopeful that these conditions will be remedied soon.

Fantastic experience: I just wished I joined many years ago, great clean facility’s and the pool is my favorite of course. Great friendly employees.

Fantastic experience: I love that they have childcare, indoor track, I love all of their classes, and my most favorite are the water classes.

Positive experience: It's open, fairly clean facility with some exceptions but they are likely short staffed due to COVID-19 etc. Been a nice place for the past 3 years now. We'll see how next year is. Remodeling was a good thing, I've been going to the competition in the off months and they're too crowded, you can't squeeze into using equipment unless you go to free weights and then one bench is maybe all that's free. I like the New arrangement here at In-Shape. Seems to be working so far. Just coming back so we'll see how things shape up?!? Still going well in Sept 2024...

Negative experience: I love this gym and don’t have any complaints but lately the environment in the front desk has been making me uncomfortable. Friday night (August 16) at 10pm, I’m walking out and there’s two coworkers flirting badly, touching each other in the front counter. And they just ignored me as I tried to ask them a question. They didn’t even look at me. Flirt on your own time, doing it in the front counter is insane. And thank you

Fantastic experience: I love how the front desk personnel greet you AND say goodbye! I always feel like I'm special. It's a very clean gym, and I enjoy all the group classes and instructors! I drive 20 miles to get there, even though 24 fitness is closer.

Negative experience: CAUTION PARENTS!!! Beware of putting your children into the daycare at this facility. First, my son got hand,foot, and mouth disease due to lack of cleanliness at this location. Second, 2 weeks later we decided to give them a second chance and decided to drop him off at the daycare while we worked out. We were met with a phone call to come and get our child because he had an unwitnessed attack, they had found our 2 year old in a corner crying with deep scratches on his face. Even though there were 3 employees working nobody had managed to see what had happened.When we picked him up we found his face covered with deep bloody scratches, on both eyelids, his cheeks, and his chin, along with a large bruise forming on his back. Of all employees one stood out for being the least concerned, Christina. Rather than address our concerns she was very rude and said it’s not their fault they have non-verbal and wild kids in the daycare. Christina wouldn’t even allow another employee to try to find out who attacked our son. When we were waiting to speak to the manager Christina came out and tried to stop us and said he couldn’t see us and that he was in a meeting. Fortunately the manager came out and was very concerned once he saw the condition of our child. He assured us that he would try his best to find out what happened. The manager was very professional but we will not be returning to this gym. I suggest all parents do not bring their children to this facility.

Fantastic experience: The gym is very nice but seniors don’t get a break on price and the yearly amount plus what you pay together is alot for a senior on a fixed income

Positive experience: I gave this gym 3 stars solely on the fact that it offers so much, classes are great, staff is great. I recently left this gym due the fact that cleanliness is just non existent. Woman’s restroom changing rooms are disgusting, never any toilet paper. Trash will sit in the sauna for weeks as well as other areas. They need to do better.

Negative experience: The hot swimming pool doesn’t work for months now nobody take care of this gym. The dryer doesn’t work to take wet clothes to the house I will give -0 to this gym for not taking care of anything. and also super dirty.

Negative experience: This gym is not good. They charge for keeping the lockers in the locker room overnight, and they cut the padlocks without my consent. No one told us when I bought the membership. Do you have to compensate me if I cut the padlocks?

Positive experience: I love this place, just wish they were open longer hours on the weekends or just a 24 hr gym

Positive experience: This in-shape location is great & the staff is awesome & helpful. All the equipment is clean and updated. The pool & sauna areas are very clean as well. My only issue is (& I've talked to other members who have an issue with this as well) Is that people wear their shoes in the sauna and steam room. Thus making the floor & smell not too great For those of us following the rules in there. It says on the door that the rules are to take your shoes off , but few members follow this rule. Please TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF IN THE SONNA & STEAM ROOM. If this location enforces this rule better I will give the full five stars.
