Negative experience: Is it not suspicious that there has been a massive influx or reviews and all reviews mention an employees name? They are incentivizing members who leave a positive review and mention the employees name. Anyways, the gym isn’t that great. Not that clean and as others mention attracts those who don’t clean up after themselves

Negative experience: Terrible customer service ♂️ Coming in as a fc elite member and my pass to open the doors to the new sections they just added wasn’t working although everything was working with my membership I then went to ask someone who I assumed worked here began to ask them if they could help me they looked down at me completely ignored me and then a different associate Overheard my question and helped me.

Positive experience: Been here twice. Liked the equipment but both times I fell ill just a couple days after. I work from home and this was the only place I’d been. I think it has something to do with the hvac system

Fantastic experience: I just moved to town and found this gym close by, I got lucky with this new updated location and the amazing trainer Emir that showed me around showing me how to operate the machines and all my options helping me choose the perfect plan ensuring I meet my goals, super friendly human and I’m excited to start thank you so much!
Negative experience: I like the price and equipment here. I do not like employees trying to upsell me constantly. When I'm checking in is understandable but approaching me in between sets is unacceptable. I'm going to lower this rating each time that happens. So far it's been twice. Edit: Three times now. Lady kept going after I said no and even tried to give me papers to fill out. Super pushy

He also let me know changes will be made at all the locations soon Glad to have the membership that allows me to use any fitness connection and would recommend the same for all patrons as it’s very reasonable monthly payment

Negative experience: Fitness Connection shares your info with a third party when you sign up. “ Elevate Fitness Coaching”. It’s a complete scam. They convinced me to sign up for one on one coaching sessions, which sounded great at first. I am a busy mom and wanted a little direction as i got back into the gym. Well - I was ghosted on my 1st AND 3rd training sessions. NO CALL, THEY JUST DIDNT SHOW UP. On my second session, they even confirmed the appointment 2 hours prior. Now I’m trying to end the contract and it’s an absolute nightmare. They want like $400 to end the contract, and they want me to pay for the session that THEY missed. They have repeatedly tried to charge my card fraudulently. Anyways- it sucks because the gym is pretty big. It just seems like they partake in deceiving business practices. I'll be reporting them to the BBB. OH! And let me save you some time- they charge $100 an hour for coaching sessions. ZERO STARS- Fitness Connection- please have Elevate email me back. I don’t want to talk to them on the phone, I want all our communication in writing. They won’t respond to my emails and they only sign with “A”, so I don’t even know who I’m talking to.

Negative experience: After renovation, almost all of the good equipment has been removed (e.g. the Life Fitness leg press) and the set up changed. The squat racks have been placed far away from the mirrors while equipment that does not need a mirror was placed in front of it, (e.g. a seated calf raise machine). Moreover, the racks themselves are one of the newer Nautilus lines that was poorly made (too wide, no slack, so that you cannot balance the bar when squatting without bumping into the hooks). There are many more little things that have been changed for the worse, like the dimmed lighting. When I discussed the flaws of the new set-up with the staff collecting members’ feedback, they pretended to be sympathetic but did nothing to improve the situation, however, I do realize that they probably do not have much say in this. My husband and I froze our memberships and found a much better alternative, but when I called to cancel my membership I had to pay for the remaining months. They extended the agreement without informing me for the frozen months as well. Word of the wise: read between the lines of your agreement because mine does not explicitly state any of the fees. The phrasing is specifically designed for that. I usually always opt for a month-to-month membership because I know gyms do that but I cannot quite remember why I opted out of it that time. On the whole, I would not recommend this gym. *Editing my review: Put 2 stars originally. Will have to change to one just because I have to put at least one. The representative on the phone told me they would charge me $95 to cancel the membership. I specifically asked if that would be exactly that number, if there were any hidden fees that I should be aware of. She gave an annoyed “No, no hidden fees. That will be the exact number”. I check the charge today and it is $102.84. You people just don’t know what you are talking about and all you care about is ripping the client off. No integrity.
