Positive experience: Women locker room is always smelling so bad, that's why I choose to to different location, further from my home address.

Fantastic experience: LUIS MONTIEL General manager is awesome. A great person to have on staff. He gave me a walk around of the club so I understand all the machines an awesome experience. THANK YOU very clean club and up-to-date.

Negative experience: As someone very allergic to dogs, i was appaled they let gym users let their huge dogs in..never coming back

Negative experience: First time using the pool at this location everything seemed awesome. No signs were on the pool that you could not swim. No signs were on the Jacuzzi that you were not able to go in was told after I swam through friends that the health department Did not approve to swim in this water have a poor guy come out to fix it after people already swim in the pool and use the Jacuzzi not cool at all

Negative experience: This place fell off so hard floors. Don't even stick on the ground anymore. Old equipment water fountain from 1985, so many more options out there. Don't waste your time here plus the annual fee to do nothing pretty much

Negative experience: Dirty, dirty, needs cleaning bathrooms smell like sewer. No sanitizer or wipes to clean equipment. The one on York has those items. Not coming back.

Negative experience: My friend and I walked in around 8:30am at this location to try their guest pass but was treated very disrespectfully by an older white, heavy set looking, with glasses, and was wearing black shirt. It escalated after telling him that I do not have the bar code available since the other employee who I did the process with from other day did not provide any bar code. He aggressively and sarcastically said, “I cannot just allow anybody to just walk in.” After my friend did the process again and had provided the barcode, he asked to see our driver license, he then threw it on the counter. That’s when I had asked him, “are you okay?” which triggered him and told us there are other gyms around and he did not need my comments. As someone who truly admire LA Fitness and think of this gym as highly as other premium gyms like Equinox. I felt disrespected, not welcomed, and discriminated. Additionally, for someone who is currently service the military, did not expect to be treated like that. I expect better than this and expect LA Fitness to really take more serious when it comes to hiring their employees and not just onboard random and unqualified employees.

Positive experience: Since LA Fitness took over Xsport they haven't done anything but stop services and not refill any merchandise or supplements. Shelves are still empty. It's been over a year. If they don't fix things or refill things I may have to change gyms.

Negative experience: They will deny your service just because they feel like it.

Positive experience: The gym is clean and has a good amount of equipment, you will find some free weights and other equipment not put back and left around the gym. the front desk doesn’t greet its customers upon arrival or when leaving. you might find yourself waving the team members down to get assistance. However when assisted the members are helpful and kind.

Positive experience: Greatly improved since lafitness acquisition. Much cleaner!

Negative experience: I wish if they open 24 hours like before. Used to be nice to go anytime.

Positive experience: Lombard does a great job keeping it clean When will LA Fitness get the sauna working, it’s been over 9 months that I can attest to. Swimming is a problem, some people take up a lane for over an hour, can we share? But it’s so much better than X-SPORT on Finley Rd. It’s freezing but if you’re a Polar bear you will love their pool. I looked like PaPa Smurf when I got out.

Negative experience: This is now a LA Fitness, it’s so dirty and nasty. You are going to get ring worm. There’s trash and dirt everywhere.

Negative experience: Had a pretty bad encounter with a front desk person who went on a power trip over a picture being taken. Encounter ended with her calling me smug, threw my workout off.

Negative experience: Used to be better now with coming of LA Fitness total garbage weights are different missing towels equipment is old and wobbly, management doesnt care

Positive experience: Dive into Zumba class at XSport in Addison. Edgar is a professional in this field and makes this class super fun. I look forward every week to Zumba.

Positive experience: This place is good since it's new, but I never knew just how much Xports look like car dealerships. This place has so many desks around for their associates to try and sell you something, it's crazy. This place is also very packed at all times of the day, and it's hard to get in a workout sometimes since it seems like they don't have enough gear to accommodate all guests. They only have 3, flat benches, which isn't much. Some days I have to wait about 30minutes to get a bench.

Fantastic experience: LOVE XSport!!! The staff and trainers are amazing, friendly, helpful and very informative! Sal and Kevin who are the Assistant GM & GM are always around to answer any questions about your membership and are always open to any feedback. The front desk staff are always very welcoming and happy to see you and if you come consistently know you on a first name basis! Nicole is also very friendly and will let you know about any training specials going on! The gym is always clean and the coolers are always stocked up! The tannings beds are great, always clean and the Cryotherpy & Infrared Sauna are AWESOME amenities that I love to use!!!

Fantastic experience: Addison Xsport is the best location for this gym. Everyone is always so nice, helpful, and always so happy. I’ve been coming here for a long time and never had any issues. This facility is always clean neat and organized! Front desk staff especially is always so sweet and greets everyone when they come in always smiling and happy.The Sauna, infrared sauna and cryotherapy are so so clean as well as the pool. Kevin and Sal are by far the best GM and AGM as they both are so helpful with anything you need and any questions they answer right away. Nicole the FM has become my BFF here at this gym. She’s so friendly to all she’s always asking questions about my fitness journey and goals and always cheering me on. Brandon hands down the absolute BEST BEST TRAINER I’ve had in all the trainers I’ve ever had. He cares about your goals and fitness and will always make sure your hit them! So nice he’s always so happy and loves what he does to help others! Would trade him for anything!!

Positive experience: I walked into this gym yesterday and was impressed on how clean it was. I was greated right away friendly staff. The locker rooms are clean the lockers look good it's like the gym just opened days ago. I took off one star for the fact that the sauna was out of order and they did not have a steam room. This is a good gym I'll be back again.

Negative experience: The printed body fat percentage chart here that was brought out after getting tested by a fitness manager isn’t accurate. The WHO (world heath org) has a different chart. The XSport gym in Addison (etc.) uses their chart as a primary example of your health as per their personal trainer program criteria. It’s a similar idea as an bmi. They will tell you hard numbers per your body, which would not be accurate per other organizations or body styles. Any meeting with a manager regarding personal training will take 45+ minutes, specifically if they think they can make you commit. If you aren’t, you can expect to be treated as an ignorant person. I get the idea that since they think I’m large, I’ve never worked out in my life. I’m fat, not ignorant. No, the gym and all of this isn’t “new to me”. I’m fat, not uneducated. Please don’t assume a large person hasn’t been through weight loss and gain before. I’d bet you wouldn’t ask the same of a thin person.

Positive experience: I went to this location around 8:40 PM on a Thursday night and it was packed! Very stinky and everyone on the basketball court spent more time arguing with each other than playing basketball.

Negative experience: The management is very poor at this place. The whole gym smell like chlorine really bad the minute you walk in because ventilation doesn’t work in the pool so they just open the doors for all those chemicals to come in the main gym this has been going on for a long time now

Negative experience: Fan are kept off often and when asked to turn on the staff doesn't have keys for a room to turn on fans.

Positive experience: Update: A lot of the cable machines go from weights like 35lbs to 55 lbs, no adjustments. Sometimes, that 5 lbs extra is all you need

Negative experience: Their pool is always cold, I signed up especially for the pool but I couldn’t handle the cold water.

Positive experience: Good gym atmosphere they just don't handle maintenance well. If it's broken... don't expect it fixed anytime soon.

Negative experience: Had a horrible experience at this location with "manager" Ben. He was rude and very dry, no care whatsoever of the patrons at facility. I purchased a two year membership that includes "ALL" recovery amenities, I had been using the Cryotherapy machine since I got my membership in June, never once had a problem, until now this person tells me is not included with my membership and it will be an extra cost of near $50 a month for a membership alone for Cryotherapy machine, mind you I live 20 miles away and I suffer from Fibromyalgia and this was the only way I finding relieve, so it was worth the drive for me. So he was very rude no validation to what I had purchase and just rude with absolutely no empathy or care for his patrons, he said it was my word against an ex employee of theirs and he did not care what I was promised. So, yes I paid $440 for absolutely no reason, as he did not care it all about what I was sold.

Positive experience: Not a fan of this location. They don't have hydromassage chairs. They don't have a standup tanning booth. The timer for the whirlpool is broken. The air vents above the whirlpool are FILLED with mold and debris. The exercise equipment is below what I use now which is Planet Fitness. One of the massage chairs is falling apart at the foot area. There are ZERO towels. There are ZERO bottles to wipe off equipment anyone uses. This is a really disgusting gym. The pool and sauna needs to be cleaned. No thanks

Positive experience: It's a decent gym with some extras that others don't have. If you buy a 2 year membership, it's worth it as I believe it is $549. If you don't, the monthly fee is a bit high. Lap pool was too cold to get in for me but the big jacuzzi was great. Basketball court is in need of some care and has no out of bounds except the walls. I would end up getting hurt if playing 5 on 5 as running into the walls is a problem. The machines were mostly free weights if that's what you want. Very good selection. Stairclimbers to treadmills were there but no rowing machine. (That's just my preference). I went as a guest but was not told to bring a towel. (Every gym I go to even after Covid, supply towels). I befriended a gentleman who called the front desk as I was dripping wet after my shower. I dried off with paper towels by the time the manager ( who was great) brought me an XSport towel that was one of the tiny hand towels you use while working out. This was fine but when my buddy and me walked up front ( I put the towel next to the manager and thanked him) the guy behind the front desk was looking for me as they don't hand out towels and he wanted me to pay $9.99 for that towel. He was very adiment that I was going to pay as I could not help but laugh at him. He said since Covid the don't have towel service and I had to pay. When he asked where it was, I told him over next to his manager and he should go talk to him. When he came back, he said no charge but remembered there is no towel service there. This guy was a complete Ahole and turned 4 stars into 3. I'm not saying this a bad gym by any means, just remember-NO TOWEL SERVICE . Big thank you to the manager that was there. He knew customer service.

Fantastic experience: XSport St Charles location is awesome. They had everything I needed from Allll the weight and cardio equipment, plus pool, 2 level hot tub, sauna, steam room, tanning, massage beds, basketball court.. you name it. Staff is super friendly. Best bang for your buck hands down!

Fantastic experience: XSport's Ignite classes with Brandon and Alfredo are challenging and so much fun! Both trainers are positive and extremely helpful. Definitely check them out!

Negative experience: This place is a dump. Buncha kids sneak through the fire exit everyday to play basketball and use the gym. The fire alarm will even go off and they don't bat an eye. Obviously a worker is letting them do it. Try downers grove or Carol stream location.

Positive experience: Nice but Alot of under age kids, and sandles... staff is possibly too nice or afraid of confronting some Karen's kid. A broken foot or toe will change that eventually

Negative experience: xport lake street in addison il, is the worst place in customer service… they need to step up and train staff to be more professional. And teach them the rules and procedures . Manager on duty refused to give his name and declined to listen. Horrible customer service .

Negative experience: My home xsport is Melrose park and stop going to because they don't clean enough the restrooms shower and locker room and a friend recommended Addison and unfortunately is worse . The locker room seems like never never been clean since they open and the showers weren't the worst It had even mold on the side of the walls Toilet paper all over the place.

Negative experience: Very poorly maintained and managed facility. After speaking with the manager Andy, it’s clear this gym does not care about people, their health or wellness. They just want you to sign up and pay a membership fee. Whatever issues/concerns you have after you sign up and start using the gym is not their problem.

Fantastic experience: This gym is a gem!!! Very clean with state of the art equipment and tvs everywhere you can get help very easily from the staff the mgr Ryan is so helpful here anytime I see something I don't like I can just walk up and notify him and he will attend to it right away.

Negative experience: I used to love going to export before covid happened I would wake up late in the evening and get a nice workout in. However at one point during that time frame I decided to cancel and they said I couldn't until the end of the month which made no sense to me but I decided to go for it. I've gone on and off since however most recently I needed to do a similar thing and when I made the phone call the person who answered Mark who seemed like a very decent person was willing to accommodate to my needs. Unfortunately he was not able to do what he could on his end so he reached out to his manager Brian and that is where the tables turned. I explained to him that I would have a hard time making a payment this month and that I have tried to cancel several times as the experience with having to cancel at the end of the month seems to have happened more than once. I told him that it was my money that I was spending on the company and he said it's not yours. This got me upset because I work for my money. And as I continue to explain my situation to him he just decided to hang up on me without explaining why. I then called export fitness is main company and was helped by a very nice lady named Gabby she proceeded to tell me that she was willing to extend my payment date to when I was going to get paid and it made it very easy.If Brian didn't raise his voice at me and hang up I wouldn't probably not be as riled up as I am because their facilities are always great. I believe in honesty and this is not a promotion for Brian as much as it's an explanation as to how he handles professional situations unlike a professional. Thanks to him I will probably not be visiting that export in Addison Illinois ever again.

Negative experience: This XSport is just gross. I've been a member a couple of months now and I keep hoping it will get better..the locker rooms are gross - like mold and hairballs everywhere. Half the showers are missing curtains and the ones that are there are dirty. The pool is rusted out and moldy. Today I counted 3 band-aids on the pool deck AND a piece of gum smeared on the side where you put your hand after every lap. C'Mon XSport.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Xsport for almost 10yrs at different locations throughout that time. I have now been a member at the Xsport in Addison since they opened. Every company has snags in them when first opening, but I feel like I been to recognize a few employees who truly go above & beyond to make sure this gym is clean, safe, and make you feel like family-- not just customers! Brian Kravcar does everything he can to make sure your experience here is enjoyable and will listen to ANY and ALL of your concerns. Andy is the face that greets you and has the kindest soul. He's very understanding, he treats his employees with respect and treats the members even better! He's NEVER standing still. If you see him- he's either cleaning something or making sure everything is the way it's supposed to be. Scott Salvatore-- his personality is one of a kind and he makes sure to help anyone & everyone that he can. He is always answering questions and helping wherever needed. Finally, Bianca!!!! Since Bianca has been here the ladies locker room has never been cleaner!!! She come in before her shift, makes sure everything is good, helps clean, and makes sure that the ladies locker room is ALWAYS clean, has soap, paper towels, etc. As a woman who is there twice a day with my family, I appreciate all of the effort she puts in to make sure everything is as perfect as she can possibly get it!! When you walk in on one of her shifts- her bubbly personality and big smile always makes you feel so welcome!!! I've seen plenty employees come & go, but, I truly hope to always see these 4 there. Xsport wouldn't be the same without them!!!

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this gym since it opened because of the location and the amount of equipment it has. It’s a good gym but it has been deteriorating ever since it opened. The locker room gets dirtier by the day, the sauna is disgusting and I don’t think has ever been cleaned, and it’s had one set of handles for the cable machines for a year now. I don’t like making reviews but I’m just hoping this helps bring some change to the gym. The staff are great and so are the people who workout there. Management needs to improve. I’ve attached a picture of the sauna which just is and has been covered in dirt.

Positive experience: 4 out of 5 because they have alot but they don't have a steam room. Very clean, bright, no broken equipment, very nice staff. I tried this location because the one I joined on Finley in Downers Grove is constantly dirty(Men's locker room), broken pieces of equipment, dark lighting on the upper weight floor, and more.
