Fantastic experience: The negative reviews on here are laughable. I never encountered an “old lady” at the pool who was as miserable as some of these whiny commenters.

Negative experience: The pool and aquatic schedule is disappointing. During the open swim time an older woman with grey long hair is giving paid lessons in the rec area and has her children swim directly into you if you’re in the way. As a paying member I should be able to do my water aerobics and light swimming in my own little area without being swam into. One time a child was so upset and crying she forced them to continue, they vomited in the pool and the woman scooped it out with her hands and the older gentleman lifeguard didn’t even properly close the pool OR clean it with any disinfectant whatsoever. This woman is aggressive and shouldn’t be able to take over the free space rec area with her paid lessons. She is rude and seems to have a special hookup there.

Positive experience: This pool is far from standard—it's a small, oddly designed, old-fashioned pool. It’s just 3 feet deep on one end but suddenly drops to 12 feet in the middle. The water is always cold, sometimes uncomfortably so. The lifeguards keep the doors open even in the freezing winter, making swimming a chilly and unpleasant experience. It feels like the lifeguards, especially the older ones, are more focused on their own comfort than that of the patrons.

Negative experience: Greedy officials have decide that the youth of area are less important then financial gains. The long standing youth swim team in Ocean City has been removed do to exorbitant fees that have forced the youth program out. It is obvious the committee needs are not a part of the aquatic centers plans, only financial gain.

Fantastic experience: 30$ a week, can’t beat it when you’re down for a week. Pool is closed this summer

Fantastic experience: High quality clean fitness center. Great hours, staff is excellent from check in to the equipment rooms. Indoor pool, racquet ball, free weights, one room dedicated to tread mills, elliptical, stair master, and rowing machines. Third room dedicated to stationary work out machines for strength training. You couldn’t ask for more.

Positive experience: It's a pool alright... It's VERY frigid and pool toys are prohibited aggressively. Swim instructions are available, often during open swim, which occupies pool space. Swim parties can be hosted for birthdays and other special events. Overall, it's uncomfortable, cramped, and a little out-dated.

Negative experience: the old ladies in the pool are nasty horrible. they refuse to share swimming lanes and are un cooperative mostly. worse collection of old ladies ive ever seen!

Positive experience: Very clean and usually not crowded. But the pool is closed often for high school from practice and meets. But other that that it's very nice

Positive experience: My daughter's school had a PTA-sponsored event. It was an excellent time for the kids, and I felt very comfortable with the PTAS decision to allow any family member/friend to attend. My son and nephew were able to help my young daughter because she is a beginner swimmer. The facility was Beautiful, The pool was clean, and lifeguards were on staff. The locker rooms for the children to get changed in were immaculate. Thanks for a great experience!

Positive experience: Hometown gem! Been swimming here on an off for 25 years. Only complaint is how lane swimming takes more than half the pool for 8 people while all others have to cram into 2 lanes for Rec Swimming. This really needs to be more balanced

Fantastic experience: The Aquatic & Fitness Center has pretty much everything the fitness buff could want. From state of the art aerobic equip and weight machines to free weights, to the racket ball courts and the pool, this place has it all. Did I mention the sauna!? I really enjoy that after a workout. Check it out!

Fantastic experience: Huge facility. Well staffed, great hours, inexpensive membership. Lots to do...6 lane 25 meter pool, gym, spin, rec room, reading room, coffee bar, food. Ample parking, easy access.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed in regard to the way the pool is handled. There is blatent discrimination if one is not as fast a swimmer as others subsequently entering the pool area (one will be moved into the "rec area" where one will no longer be able to swim laps). Spoke to pool director, who stands by this policy. It is more than unfair; it's discrimination. I've both witnessed it and experienced it myself. Not good.

Negative experience: We had kind of bad experience - we dropped our son for fitness and swimming session - bc we have to wait 2 and half hours - me and my wife decided to go to the beach ( we have to wait anyway) - one of staff member of the center - let a note on the wipers by warning us - "our car will be tow away next time "- what is this?? really ??!! very disappointed.

Negative experience: I was hoping to get my day pass as I work full time everyday and Tuesday is my only day off but unfortunately best offer was 30$ weekly pass which I did not want to pay as I do not have time to come the whole week. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: Staff is helpful and will give you a tour of the building. Prices are also very good compared to other gyms on the island. Workout areas are decently large but can feel crowded if it’s a busy time

Fantastic experience: Have been attending water exercise classes here 2 - 3 times a week. Instructors are great....you really get a good workout! The staff does a fantastic job of following CDC guidelines. I feel very safe attending these classes in the pool.

Fantastic experience: The is an amazing place Ocean City has built for the community. Excellent cardio equipment, workout mats for stretching, yoga classes, free weights, nautilus machines, resistance bands, kettle bells, and more. There is the pool as well and clean restrooms with showers and lockers. When your done exercising you can grab a coffee or smoothie from the cafe. Very nice place.
